1. Wave wings create mechanical energy as they are moved by water particles. The energy is taken through a cable to a turbine which converts it into electricity.
2. The turbine powers the water pump and desalination plant.
3. The pump pulls up water through the water intake pipe. A screen prevents marine animals from being pulled into the pipe. Water goes into a series of settling tanks and a sand filter to remove large particles.
4. After passing through a sand filter, water goes to the reverse osmosis tubes and is sent through graphene filters. Water molecules pass through the graphene, leaving the salt behind. The purified water is then pumped to the holding tank.
5. Fresh, clean water is now available for homes and businesses. From the ocean, powered by the ocean!
